Our mission is to regulate the practice of Osteopathy in Spain as a healthcare profession, independent and of primary intention. We also work for the promotion of quality standards in osteopathy, following the academic, professional, and ethical criteria specified by the World Health Organization (WHO) in osteopathy, as well as the implementation of European Standard EN-16686:2015.

Our vision is to represent Federation’s member associations in front of the Spanish Government and internationally, with the aim of ensuring that the patient receives a good quality and safe healthcare treatment by the osteopath. We exist also to develop and promote knowledge of osteopathic practice among society.

We promote and develop the profession of Osteopath in Spain.

We ensure the academic standards of our professionals’ training in accordance with the training standards set by Osteopathy Europe, promoting the supervision of recognized schools and standardizing academic levels among them.

We collaborate with Spanish and European Health Authorities for the complete standardization of the practice of Osteopathy in Spain.
