The mission and vision of the **Registro degli Osteopati d’Italia (ROI)** are centred on representing and supporting the osteopathic profession in Italy while contributing to its continued development within the healthcare system.

ROI promotes high standards of professional practice, education and research, supports the development and dissemination of scientific evidence, and works to strengthen the role of osteopathy through dialogue with institutions, healthcare professions and the wider scientific community. Its long-term vision is for osteopathy to develop as a fully recognised, evidence-informed and person-centred healthcare profession, increasingly integrated within the Italian healthcare system and able to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary and collaborative models of care. At the same time, ROI seeks to ensure that the development of the profession in Italy remains connected with the wider European and international osteopathic community, encouraging collaboration, shared standards and the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
