We are looking forward to our Annual Spring Conference & General Meeting 2026, taking place on 6–7 March in Salzburg, Austria.
The meeting is organised in cooperation with the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Osteopathie (OEGO) and the Osteopathy Europe Board. OEGO, the Austrian Association of Osteopathy, represents the professional interests of osteopaths in Austria, and we are grateful for their partnership in hosting this year’s gathering.
This year’s conference will focus strongly on three strategic pillars: Artificial Intelligence, membership development, and research.
Artificial Intelligence
A dedicated session will explore the implications of Artificial Intelligence within the osteopathic context — examining opportunities, professional responsibilities, and how AI may influence clinical practice, communication, education, and organisational strategy.
Membership
Strengthening our membership community remains a core priority. Discussions will centre on collaboration across Europe, supporting member organisations in diverse regulatory contexts, and reinforcing a shared strategic direction for the profession.
Research
Committee Updates
All committees — including Research, Education, Policy, and Communication — will present status updates and outline their strategic priorities for the coming year.
Leadership Transition
The Salzburg meeting will also mark an important moment of transition. The current President, Hanna Tómasdóttir, and Lluis Horta will step down, and President-Elect Tomas Collin will formally assume the presidency.
We look forward to welcoming our member organisations for what promises to be a forward-looking and strategically important gathering for Osteopathy Europe.
Warm regards from the OE Board
